This may be caused by abrupt changes in directions while running or speed changes, dehydration and overuse. For this application you will need one piece of StrengthTape and a partner.
Here are your simple steps to apply.
- Place calf in stretch by putting the leg out behind you and the heel flat on the floor. Shave or trim hair around area of application for more effective results.
- Anchor tape directly below sight of pain and apply a 25% stretch up the side of the calf.
- Mirror the first strip on the other side of the calf creating a ‘v’ shape. Remember to anchor on the skin, not on the tape.
- Rub the entire application with your hand or some of the backer paper to create heat so the adhesive will stick much better to the skin.
